The fund’s regular plan is the SBI Fund-Growth. You will be charged 1.97 per cent each year for this plan. On the other hand, if you choose ET Money’s direct plan, you will pay 1.22 per cent. That’s a 0.75 per cent reduction.

Regular plans cost more because the fund pays the salesperson a commission when you purchase them. This is an additional cost for the fund, and to cover it, the fund deducts a larger portion of the profits created by your assets.
